Camera Picture
taking for Members and Staff
The Member
Tracking System can store pictures for your Members and Staff for
use on ID Cards and Quick Entry scanning.
WE RECOMMEND
the Logitech QuickCam Express Web Camera
Software Requirements:

Microsoft Windows XP, with ALL
Service Packs installed

Microsoft Windows Image Acquisition
driver 2.0
One time computer setup to take pictures with a Web Camera:
- Open Member Tracking System and click on the Members button
- Click on the Photo tab
- Click on the Help button
- Click on Step 3 under Webcam SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS: Microsoft
Windows Acquisition Driver – this will open the web and access the
needed driver
- Save the WIAAutSDK.zip driver to your desktop
- Close Member Tracking System
- Go to your desktop and right click on the driver when the
download is complete
- Choose Explore
- Right click and copy the wiaaut.dll
- Paste it in the C:\Windows\System32 folder
- Then click on Start then click on Run
- Type in regsvr32 C:\Windows\System32\wiaaut.dll and click OK
- You should see a message saying …succeeded. Click OK
- If you don’t see this message make sure you pasted the file to
the correct location in step 10 above and try step 13 again
- Plug in your web camera – your computer will recognize new
hardware
Taking Pictures with a Web Camera:

Open Member Tracking System and click on the Members button

Click on the Photo tab
-
Click on New Picture from Webcam button
-
Click on Freeze Picture button
-
Use the Click and Drag tool on the screen to crop if needed, then
click the Crop button
-
Click on the Save button
-
Click on the Refresh button on the Photo screen
-
Repeat steps 2 through 8 for each member, contact or staff person
