Install the Member Tracking System
on the first workstation

Open Windows Explorer by
double-clicking on the My Computer icon on the desktop. Or,
right click on the Start button and choose Explore

Create a folder on your server named MTS7
or Member Tracking 7 - NOTE: This folder MUST be SHARED with
FULL Permissions for ALL Users who will be using the software

Find the C:\Program Files\MTS7
folder

On the FIRST workstation find the
MTS7data file, MTS7stds file, blankworddocuments Folder,
populatedworddocuments Folder and the Pictures folder inside
C:\Program Files\MTS7 and move these items to the new folder on
the server.

On each additional workstation
install the Member Tracking System, then find
the MTS7data file, MTS7 stds file, blankworddocuments Folder,
populatedworddocuments Folder and the Pictures folder inside
C:\Program Files\MTS7 and remove them

Close Windows Explorer

Open the Member Tracking from your
Start, Programs list

A message box about linking will
appear. It will take you to the Linking form
-
On the Linking form, click on the
yellow folder for the Data file path
-
Find the MTS7data file on the
networked computer or server and open it
-
On the Linking form, click on the
yellow folder for the Standards file path
-
Find the MTS7stds file on the
networked computer or server and open it
-
On the Linking form, click on the
yellow folder for the Support Files path
-
This path should read C:\Program
Files\MTS7
-
On the Linking form, click on the
yellow folder for the Import file path
-
This path should read C:\Program
Files\MTS7\Import

On the Linking form, click on the
yellow folder for the Pictures file path
-
Find the Pictures folder on the
networked computer or server and open it

On the Linking form, click on the
yellow folder for the Blank Word Doc Path

Find the Blank Word Doc Path folder on the
networked computer or server and open it

On the Linking form, click on the
yellow folder for the Populated
Word Doc Path

Find the
Populated Word Doc Path
folder on the networked computer
or server and open it

On the Linking form, click on the yellow
folder for the Default Backup Path
-
Find
C:\Mts7\Backup or create your
own backup path and open it
-
Click on the Link button on the
bottom of the form
-
This will link the program on the
workstation to the files needed on the networked computer
or server
-
When Linking is complete, close
out of the program

Open Member Tracking from your
Start, Programs list
